You did have a turf war today, that might be one. [said with a pointed glance towards where Matt's leg is propped up.] But I think you got it the wrong way around, you're supposed to be the one telling me.
Kindly remember that we won that shit. [he'll reach down to rub at his leg, glancing up at billy a little fondly.] You love it, don't you? Getting to be the sage bartender.
Guess so. I like hearing people's stories. And it's always nice to be able to help. [he shoots Matt a glance over his glass, dampened by the little smile on his face.] Don't go tell everybody, though. They'll start watching what they say.
Nah, they'll just think you're a softie. [he chuckles into his drink.] You ever make out with your patrons, Billy, or should I stop pining and go to sleep?
[he rolls his head to the side, adopting a pitiful expression.] I had such a tough day and then my whole pack went out without me. Please could I have one little kiss, Billy?
I'm betting they at least asked. But I guess you can get points for that anyway.
[there's open amusement in his voice, even as he's pushing his chair back from the table. he'll stand up and come around, rather than having to stretch across the table, before leaning down to do as Matt asked, planting a kiss at the corner of his mouth.]
Like they want an old fart like me babysitting them. [he grins very slightly at that, trying to get a read on billy's body language. unless he seems quick to draw away, he'll try to reach for his arm, to pull him into a chaste but proper kiss.]
[he won't pull away immediately, and seems fully amenable when Matt reaches out for him. he braces a hand against the back of his chair, making it easier to lean over him, and he doesn't straighten up completely once it ends, either.] What happened to one?
[matt exhales a little laugh, his hand briefly cradling billy's jaw. he's not pulling him in again, but he'll touch him as long as he's allowed.] I got greedy.
Mmm. [he doesn't shake him off or pull away, a little smile playing around the corner of his mouth as he makes a considering sound.] You were pretty nice about it, I'll let it slide.
You know, you could be nice, too, if you wanted. [with a gentle and lighthearted pointedness.] I'd just like to highlight that that's an option available to you.
[it's light, teasing, raising an eyebrow at him playfully, but he only lets the question linger for a moment before he's leaning down again to kiss him.]
[matt holds his jaw, kissing him thoroughly, sweetly, before he'll let him go and lean back into his seat with an expression that's almost smug.] You know what? You really are.
[he leans into the touch, thoroughly responsive until Matt lets go, and huffs a little laugh at his expression as much as his answer.] Good, you had me worried there for a minute.
[he will straighten up after that, mostly because bending over like that gets awkward after a while, taking a step back and stretching his arms behind his back for a moment as he does.]
[matt will watch him, finishing his drink with that same little smile, before he gently and firmly settles the ball in billy's court.] Where'm I sleeping tonight, then?

[he'll finish off his glass, before he pulls out his wallet, tosses a ten on the table.] One more refill?

[he takes a sip before adding, pointedly:] You should go to sleep because your body will probably thank you for it.

You know what else my body will thank me for?
[please you set him up for that]

[clearly not, he is completely innocent, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.]
